Añoro is a unique word with no direct translation. It is pronounced 'ahn-your-o' and in Spanish refers to a longing for something missing in your heart.
Just completed this year, Casa Añoro is the newest luxury home in Manuel Antonio. Casa Añoro rests on one of the highest points in town in an exclusive community of multimillion dollar homes.
Casa Añoro was designed by Michael Cunningham who has owned homes and managed dozens of properties in Manuel Antonio for many years, including the award winning CasaTolteca. His new home, Casa Añoro, will become his permanent home in Summer 2014. This is the only chance you have to see Casa Añoro before it is taken off the rental market and becomes the owners personal home. Because this will be his permanent home, Casa Añoro is filled with high end details. To preserve these high end touches, we do have a minimum age of 15 for any guest in the home.
Indoor / Outdoor Living:
The 25 foot wall of windows separating the indoor great room with the outdoor terrazza completely opens up giving you almost 1000 square feet of great room living area, completely covered by beautiful slabs of coral stone flooring.
Take three steps down to the pool area for even more lounging space. The infinity edge pool covered with imported Italian glass tiles allows you to gaze miles up the sandy coast line.
The entire home does have air-conditioning, but you may not ever need since the home was designed to capture the breezes and sweep them through the house.
Gourmet Kitchen:
The owners love to eat, drink, and entertain and have actually attended culinary school. Casa Añoro's kitchen is equipped to please any chef. 
The 12 feet of exotic Brazilian granite counter space contains Bosch, Kitchen Aid, and Decor appliances. In addition, there is a 9 foot island to prepare and serve food. Of course, the wine refrigerator is available for your use.
Limited Stairs:
Manuel Antonio is very hilly, forcing virtually every home in town to have many stairs. Casa Añoro has all the essentials on one floor. Park your car and walk in the front door, the master bedroom, kitchen, living area, and outdoor terrazza are all on one floor making it handicap accessible. There are only three steps down to the pool level right off the living area.
Ultimate Location:
Casa Añoro is located on one of the highest points in town, at the very end of a private road, overlooking the famous Gaia Reserve. This means no cars, traffic, noise, or even other people will ever go past the home. You are in complete privacy surrounded by rain forest, our gardens, and the nature reserve, yet you are less than 3 minutes to the main road where you will find restaurants and shops. Huge panoramic ocean views stretch across the horizon guaranteeing you a perfect ocean sunset every night, any day of the year.
Unique Pool:
With an infinity edge corner facing straight up the coast line, you can daydream as you watch the surf breaking on miles and miles of shoreline. The large pool also includes a sitting area at the far edge where you can relax and enjoy the panoramic ocean views over the rainforest reserve while having a cool drink.
Even the tiles in the pool at Casa Añoro are unique... made from imported Italian glass sparkle in the light.
