Manuel Antonio is located in Puntarenas on the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica.
There is a reason this area is the most visited tourist destination in all of Central America... soft white sand beaches, abundance of wildlife, great weather, and untouched rainforests.
The road between Quepos and the National Park is about 4.5 miles long, winding through the hills of Manuel Antonio.
Manuel Antonio has many different areas (zones), each with their own characteristics. In general, the closer you get to the park, the more desirable the home. Some of the best hotels, restaurants, bars, and homes are locaed in the 'Beach & Park' zone, just before you head down the hill toward the beach. |

These are the OLD directions to Manuel Antonio. The new highway is so new, I don't even have the directions on how to take it. I'll update this web page as soon as I get the directions...
Take the Pan-American Highway (Highway 1) going north. Stay in the center lane and follow the sign toward San Ramon. After about 12 kilometers take the exit toward Atenas.
At about the 42 kilometer mark. you'll see a sign that says Manuel Antonio 111 km. Soon after that sign the road will turn right. Do not go straight past the 'No Hay Paso' sign (the road becomes a one-way road). Follow the turn to the right one block and turn left at the blue church.
At about the 49 kilometer mark, you'll see a stop light in the town of Orotina. About five hundred meters past the stop light take the turn off on the right. Follow the sign toward Quepos / Manuel Antonio / Jaco.
Another 7 kilometers further you'll have another turn off. Continue to follow the signs toward Quepos / Manuel Antonio / Jaco. Jaco is about 92 kilometers from SJO Airport.
At about the 134 kilometer mark, you will pass through the town of Parrita. About 15 kilometers farther you'll arrive in Quepos. |

When you come to Quepos you'll drive over a small bridge and come to a fork in the road. Take the left fork (low road). When you see the sign Manuel Antonio Park 7 km turn left. Take this road about 5 kilometers.
This road is abour 4.5 miles of hilly twists and turns and is considered Manuel Antonio. We can give you more exact directions to each house, but you can see the approximate locations of each house on the map above.
All of our homes are conveniently located in the most exclusive, prestigeous areas of Manuel Antonio and are very easy to reach.
